Patterns, Lines And Texture.
This photo has a variety of colours and a lot of lines. You can see that this is based on the bike bars, there is no confusion in this picture and no clustering. The bike bars give a interesting line structure and pattern at the same time.
This photo has a lot of lines and patterns, as the branches give off a messy kind of pattern as the pattern isn't exactly organized and the branches go off in different ways in different range of sizes.
This photo is based on a tree and it's interesting branches, there is no confusion in this picture or cluttering.
This photo contains a lot of lines. There are horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines in this photo. This photo is based on the stairs, there is no clustering or confusion in this photo.

Improving The Bad Photo.
This is the best I could do with improving my bad photo, I have cropped everything out of the picture and focused on the 2 girls facing the camera. This photo shows that they are both happy, and look as if they are having fun! They are both doing the same thing, so there is no confusion on what is happening in the photo. But, it's blurry because originally it was a small picture, cropping it just made the quality bad.

Can you make a photo look interesting?
Can You Make A Photo Look Interesting?
This is my good photo, because it is focused on one person, there isn't any clustering in this photo, but i could improve this by editing the photo so there is no person in the background. This photo you can tell what is going on, it's of someone smiling. You can see a clear face and nothing else is going on in the photo. This photo, there is more than one thing going on, there are some people in the background waving and smiling, some others next to them looking at the screen with their back of their heads to the camera, but the other people's faces are clear and shows that they are happy. But there is also a blurred part of the photo on the right which is cropped out and someone cropped out on the left which doesn't make a good photo. This photo is clustered and you can't make clear sense of what is going on.

The 4 Interesting Photos.
This is a soldier kissing his children before he goes to fight in Iraq, I found this interesting because the colour grey represents dull and sad, I thought it expressed the feelings of this photo.
This is a picture of the sun behind a cloud of smoke rising from downtown, after Hurricane Katrina hits. I like this photo because it shows the darkness of the town after Hurricane Katrina ruins the town, but the sun still shines through with a red and orange tint which brightens out the photo.

The green in this photo makes it look more mysterious, this is the largest cave on earth. i found this interesting because of the colour and mist. The water is smooth and has a reflection which gives off good effect.
This photo is effective and a good photo because it's a big part of history.. this is a picture from the 9/11 when terrorists crashed airplanes into the twin towers, millions were killed and hardly anyone compared to how many there was, were left injured, because most of them had died. This is a dramatic photo, the explosion of the tower brings out the trauma and the blue sky represents that there was happiness and everything was calm before the attack.
Year 11 Photography Unit
My name is Jordan Shepphard. I am a year eleven student at Caldicot Comprehensive School and I am studying OCR Media. I have already done two other units, which we have designed and produced a CD cover in 'Unit 1' and a Magazine cover in 'Unit 2', but we have also created a film of our own. We are now doing a 'Photography Unit' where I am going to choose my own photo's and edit them and give a description of the photo's and how I feel about them.
